Rocket Knight Downloadable Game Gets A Release Date
Konami has revealed the release date for their latest platforming remake, and fans don't have long to wait before they'll be able to once again rocket about with video gaming's greatest opossum hero.
Rocket Knight will release on Xbox Live Arcade and Steam on May 12th, with a release on PSN the following week on May 18th.
Rocket Knight is based on a Konami platforming series from the 90s, starring a hero named Sparkster who dons a jet pack to take on invading hordes of vicious animals. Despite the cartoony visuals, the new Rocket Knight game is packed with classic platforming appeal, with some exciting level designs and several cool gimmicks, not the least of which is the ability to bounce around the screen at high speed using the titular rocket.
