[Update] Seen At PAX West 2016

by Javy Gwaltney on Sep 06, 2016 at 04:10 AM

We're here on the ground at Pax West and we're seeing a lot of exciting things: game previews, developer talks, and, of course, fantastic cosplayers doing what they do best. Here's some of the best stuff we've seen.

Here's a couple showing off their love for indie hit Stardew Valley with some creative costumes.

Overwatch is huge this year and cosplayers are out in full force, showing their love for the game's colorful character roster. There have been some particularly great Junkrats.

Nice pose, Mega Man.

This troupe of Zelda fans calls themselves The Sagan Squad and could be seen roaming the floors of the convention center, prepared to fight the forces of evil.

Here's a small area on the sixth floor dedicated to card games.

Some Suda 51 fans here.

There was a stage where Rock Band enthusiasts could play for the crowd.

Some hardcore Dishonored fans here at the Dishonored 2 event, no doubt talking about whisky and cigars.

To no one's surprise, Undertale was also a popular choice for cosplayers this year.

Here's the Triforce Quartet drawing a large crowd with their lovely music.

The spooky Resident Evil house that made an appearance at E3 showed up at this year's PAX in a slightly smaller form. Didn't keep the crowds away from trying the VR demo inside, though.

There was a "plop and play" area where attendees could relax and break out their 3DSes.

Wargaming brought back another tank to display outside the convention center as they have done in previous years. These guys were yelling a lot. Probably because they were on a tank.

An arcade was set up nearby the convention center inside the Grand Hyatt complete with classic arcade games like Space Invaders as well as a line of pinball machines.

This unit has a soul. And a huge sniper rifle.
