Assassin's Creed III's Historical Secrets

by Ben Hanson on Mar 21, 2012 at 11:30 AM

In a previous video, the team behind Assassin's Creed III discussed the perks of creating a game in a familiar setting. The history of the Revolutionary War is a topic taught in schools around the world, and Ubisoft Montreal is finally allowing players to experience it for themselves. While the wider gaming public might recall a few key figures and battles, Assassin's Creed III writers Corey May and Matt Turner wanted to share some of the lesser known tidbits from history that they may or may not be including in the story for the new game. Check out the video below to learn what stood out about the time period for the men in charge of crafting the narrative for Assassin's Creed III.

If you are a history or language nut, please check out the bonus portion of the interview on our YouTube channel where the writers talk about accurately portraying the accents of the time. Feel free to subscribe to our channel and help spread the word!
