PUBG Corp. Working On New Original Title In The PUBG Universe
Former Sledgehammer Games co-founder Glen Schofield (Call of Duty: WWII) has joined PUBG Corp., and is the CEO of its internal studio Striking Distance in San Ramon, California. Schofield and the studio have just announced that they have started work on a new project separate from and yet still related to PUBG.
While in a series of tweets Schofield says the game (no release timeframe announced yet) isn't a sequel to PUBG, it's in the battle-royale game's "universe."
Striking Distance is hiring for multiple positions, including lead designers for both single and multiplayer.
The only thing I can say now is that I’m not working on a sequel to PUBG, but an original narrative in the PUBG universe.
