Double Fine Joins Xbox Game Studios
Over the years, Double Fine has been one of the most respected independent development studios. While the company's tradition for quirky, funny, and interesting games might continue, that "independent" part no long applies; today Microsoft announced that Double Fine is now part of Xbox Game Studios.
Following the announcement, Double Fine confirmed that, despite the acquisition, Psychonauts 2 is still coming to all announced platforms.

Double Fine also released a couple YouTube videos where studio head Tim Schafer offered some additional details on what the acquisition means.
