by Suriel Vazquez on Oct 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM

There are some pretty cool things to watch this weekend, if you're willing to go outside your comfort zone. While League of Legends' World competition continues, we see the competitive premier of Soulcalibur VI, as well some big tournaments for some interesting, smaller games. Enjoy!

League of Legends' biggest tournament enters its quarterfinals stage, wherein the top eight teams duke it out to see who makes it to semifinals. (Stream / Schedule)

This week's big fighting game event is East Coast Throwdown, which not only has regular FGC mainstays Street Fighter V and Dragon Ball FighterZ, but is also the first major to have a post-release tournament for Soulcalibur VI. Let's see those day-two strategies! (Streams and Schedule)

The Tetris World Championship descends on the Oregon Convention Center for the next couple days. Check out what it's like to see people who are much better at Tetris than you play the game! (Stream)

For something a little different, check out the Killer Queen World Championship in Portland, Oregon this weekend. Curious about what Killer Queen actually is? Now's a great time to find out! (Streams and Schedule)

Finally, we have the Brawlhalla Autumn Championship, which features some of the best competition the game has to offer in both one-on-one and two-on-two formats. (Stream and Schedule)

That's it for this weekend! Let us know if we missed an event, or if there's a scene you'd like us to cover, in the comments below.
