Comic Subscription App InkyPen Coming To Switch
InkyPen has announced that their subscription comic access/reading service will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. While the reveal trailer, which you can see below, only shows the app being used in handheld mode, the app is also usable on the TV.
The idea behind InkyPen is to offer an $8/month subscription service for access to a library of comics, similar to Netflix or Hulu. The caveat comes from InkyPen not offering big hitters from Marvel and DC, who prefer to leverage their comics for their own services.
InkyPen is hitting the Switch this November, making it the second non-game app to hit the Switch after Hulu last November. If this is the current pace, maybe we can expect Netflix in November 2019.
