Nintendo Switch Sales Near 20 Million Mark

Nintendo continues to ride strong Switch and software sales according to its first-quarter earnings report. The Switch once again led the charge, with lifetime sales sitting at 19.67 million units. 

On the Switch software front, Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze sold 1.4 million since May, Mario Aces has crossed the million mark in the two weeks since its release, and two Labo sets have sold 1.39 million units combined. To date, 86 million games have shipped for the platform.

Overall, Nintendo recorded $274 million operating profit, up 88 percent year-on-year, as revenue grew 9 percent to $1.38 billion. You can read the full report here.
