The Final Season Of Telltale's Walking Dead Premieres In August
Telltale announced a few months back that The Walking Dead, the series that put the company on the map, would be drawing to a close with a final season that would be released in 2018. That season now has a release date, thanks to a new trailer: August 14.
The trailer itself is brooding and features both Clem and AJ, the little boy Clem has taken care of for two seasons now, sitting over a river, going over the rules that keep people alive in this bleak universe. The trailer ends ominously, with Clem asking AJ to tell her what he needs to do if she gets bit.
Our Take
Is this a suggestion that Clem is on the way out? Her death would be a fitting exit for this series, given we've watched this little girl grow up and become a fierce survivor, but it'd also be nice just to have the barest traces of hope emerge. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
