Early after Activision’s announcement that the Guitar Hero brand was DOA it also made known that DLC support for the franchise would be discontinued. Two weeks later Activision changed its stance, announcing that continued support from fans had prolong the life of downloadable Guitar Hero content. It’s unclear how long this support will continue, however.

A handful of new Guitar Hero tracks hit the music library today, including contributions from Jet, Queens of the Stone Age, and Snow Patrol.
