Today's Super Smash Bros. image reveals the trophy form of a character that appeared in the recent Kid Icarus: Uprising.

The image you see above is the one that appears on the Smash Bros. site and game director Masahiro Sakurai wrote, "The most powerful commander of the Forces of Nature, Lightning Flash Phosphora!!" on the Miiverse. In a comment on that Miiverse post, however, Sakurai published the full, zoomed-out image you see below and wrote, "…is a Trophy. The detail in her scarf is amazing."

Phosphora is a boss character in Kid Icarus: Uprising. She is the lightning force of nature serving as one of Viridi's commanders.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS are on track for a 2014 release.
