The lights are on
Today's Super Smash Bros. image reveals the trophy form of a character that appeared in the recent Kid Icarus: Uprising.
The image you see above is the one that appears on the Smash Bros. site and game director Masahiro Sakurai wrote, "The most powerful commander of the Forces of Nature, Lightning Flash Phosphora!!" on the Miiverse. In a comment on that Miiverse post, however, Sakurai published the full, zoomed-out image you see below and wrote, "…is a Trophy. The detail in her scarf is amazing."
Phosphora is a boss character in Kid Icarus: Uprising. She is the lightning force of nature serving as one of Viridi's commanders.

Umm... Any chance this game will have an Online Mutiplayer BETA on the Eshop for Wii U, Sakurai?!! WHERES THE DEMO? (And Sonic better be unlocked from the start in this game!).
Kid Icarus Uprising was so much fun. This really makes me want to play it again.
Wow. I'm really becoming more and more distraught about not owning a Wii U. I'm not going to be able to experience possibly the greatest nintendo game ever. (Epic Sigh)
She could have been a support trophy or something :/
She is one of the more interesting characters in Uprising.
My Mind went straight to Kill La Kill lol
