Still excited to see the Unreal Engine 4 demo :S How many more hours is it? 2, 3?
Sad to see E3 over :( It was a lot of fun sitting with my friends Monday afternoon and watching all the press conferences. Compared to last year, I'd say it's about the same if not a little better in terms of games and surprises. All I know is early 2013 is going to be a CRAZY time for gamers, just look at February alone.
Some great news out of these last four days.
That wasnt a bad E3 cant wait for 2013 now ;)
Lookin forward to Tomb Raider mostly. Curious and hopeful about the L4D prequel. Interested in the castlevanie. The rest I'm less enthused about.
I'm interested in a few of these games. A few I wanted announced didn't get announced...so I'm not happy about that.
"Had some pretty news stories."
I did not find these pretty at all.
Great E3.
It was fine, it would've been better for some people if Bayonetta was a confirmed character for All-Stars Racing Transformed, and if there was..... Bayonetta 2.
Now that its all over I can say that this wasn't the most lively E3. Not many actual reveals, I believe only Watch Dogs and Splinter Cell: Blacklist (which was even speculated) were true surprises, as even Beyond: Two Souls had a minor tease a few weeks ago. In fact I'm actually counting off what wasn't shown. So it was mainly a show about updates, but they certainly were big ones.
Seeing 7 minute demos of The Last of Us & Assassin's Creed III was amazing, and other appearances certainly didn't disappoint either. But I believe the lack of big announcements, combined with Sony & Microsoft's blatant evasion of anything next-gen means that this console cycle is really coming to a close. It is now inevitable that next year's show will bring next-gen into full view, most likely with the systems & demos being paraded without shame. 2013 just might be the last hurrah for the PS3 & 360.
I think BlackOps2, Halo4, And Gears of War: Judgement Day look really good.
