Slay The Spire Has A Sailor Moon Mod

by Javy Gwaltney on Jul 11, 2019 at 10:42 AM

Sailor Moon is one of the most popular anime out there, so it's always struck me as strange that there haven't been that many mods for it.  Dragon Ball Z, Gundam, and even Evangelion mods exist for plenty of games, such as Half-Life and Quake, but these celestial warriors rarely get time to shine in that scene. A new mod for Slay The Spire, however, is looking to change that and it's pretty dang cool.

Slay The Spire, if you haven't played it, is an enticing mixture of Rogue-like dungeon crawling and deck-building card games. It's a difficult, enthralling game with an engaging loop that you can read all about in our review for the game. The Sailor Moon mod, called Senshi, is pretty impressive, offering a 75-card deck, featuring references and attacks unique to the show as well as an avatar based on protagonist Usage herself.

You can watch the mod in action here:

You can install Senshi through Steam's workshop. For more on Slay The Spire, check out our New Gameplay Today here.
