2K Announces Documentary Film The Art Of The Game
2K has produced and is preparing to release a documentary film about its recent partnership with the Academy of Art University giving student a chance to create a Borderlands short film.
Around this time last year, 2K announced that it would be working with the Academy of Art University to allow students the chance to make an animated Borderlands short film and a interview for an internship with Gearbox. For more on the student-created short film, head here.
This documentary film follows that event, but is also meant to be an examination of the the popularity of video games.
The film will be available to watch for free on May 8 on Machinima's Twitch Channel at 1 PM and 6 PM PDT. After that it will be available May 9-11 through Xbox Live on Machinima's app, and finally on May 12, it will post to Machinima's YouTube channel.
