While we may never see a Night Elf Mohawk on the big screen, the World of Warcraft movie marches forward. Today brings news from producer Charles Roven regarding the status of the project.

In a comment to SlashFilm, Roven stated that filming is scheduled to begin in early 2014. Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) is on board to direct, after Sam Raimi's version stalled. Fans are hopeful for a 2015 release, and while that isn't impossible, shooting in 2014 could push the release into the following year.
