Gears Of War 3 Slated For September 20 Release

Microsoft confirmed today that Gears of War 3 will hit retail on September 20, 2011.

Originally slated for an April 2011 release, Gears of War 3 was pushed to an undisclosed window in the fall in order to “make it a marquee title for the holiday season.”

Picking up 18 months after Jacinto sinking into the ocean, Gears of War 3 follows a familiar cast of characters as they battle the resurging threat of Lambent Locust.
