First Five Kinectimals Plush Pals Debut

by Phil Kollar on Feb 14, 2011 at 10:30 AM

If you're like us and enjoyed the adorable world of Kinectimals but have been waiting on new in-game pets, I've got good news. Microsoft and Jakks Pacific have announced the first five in a line of Kinectimals plush toys that can be scanned into the game itself.

Available now at Toys 'R' Us stores and heading to Target in March, the five new Kinectimals plush toys cost $11.99 a piece and can be put into your copy of Kinectimals using "Microsoft tags." The five pets include a white tiger, an African lion, an Asian cheetah, a Bornean clouded leopard, and an Iberian lynx (pictured above).

As previously hinted at, Microsoft will be pushing out new waves of plush pals throughout the year -- specifically, four more sets are planned. While the publisher has yet to lay out every animal that will be included, they're promising some rarities such as a Canadian lynx and a jagarundi. What is a jagarundi you ask? BOOM:
