Sony said today sales of PlayStation 3 during Black Friday week in the
U.S. totaled 525,000 units. PlayStation Vita sales hit 160,000.

According to a report from Bloody Disgusting, Guillermo Del Toro's video
game project Insane has found a new, unidentified developer. The first
studio he pitched the idea to said yes.

Kongregate announced it will now begin offering free downloadable games
through its service. The first three titles, Super Monday Night Combat,
Smashmuck Champions, and Bomb Buddies are now available to play from
Kongregate.com.

The new map pack for Halo 4 is available on December 10 through Xbox
Live, Microsoft announced. The pack costs 800 Microsoft points and is
the first of three add-ons included in the War Games season pass.

Sony announced a new PlayStation Vita bundle that includes a 3G Wi-Fi system, a 1-year PS Plus membership, a Unit 13 game voucher and a 4 GB Memory Card for $299.99.

As expected, Halo 4's reign at the top spot on Xbox Live activity charts
was short lived. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 took over when it released

The annual Video Game Awards show is upon us and one of the confirmed
debuts this year is the first gameplay video of Castlevania: Lords of
Shadow 2.
