Weekend Warrior – Fireworks Of Our Own

by Brian Shea on Jul 06, 2018 at 07:00 PM

After a week that featured a holiday and the launch of our new issue, the Game Informer staff is enjoying a diverse collection of games this weekend. From playing through new experiences like The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit and Jurassic World Evolution to old favorites like Destiny 2 and Overwatch, the GI crew has a well-rounded diet of games heading into this post-holiday weekend.

What are you playing this weekend? Leave us a comment and let us know!

Leo Vader (@leovader) – In between prepping more of that sweet Destiny video content, I will be playing Rainbow Six Siege because it’s the only remotely good game ever made. The other night I heard my Gu trap go off and I knew where it was so I bolted over the second story railing and mid-air hipfire headshotted the guy pulling the trap out of his foot. So I’ll be trying to chase that high this weekend and for the rest of my life. HAGS!

Brian Shea (@brianpshea) – It pretty much goes without saying that I'm spending time playing Overwatch and Pokémon Go (heck, I've said it nearly every Weekend Warrior for the past two years), but this time around I'm also planning on a lot of Jurassic World Evolution and Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion. I'm also hopeful that I'll finally be able to get into Nier: Automata (the first attempt didn't take, sadly).

Jacob Geller (@yacobg42) – I'm celebrating the 4th of July by sinking into a cyberpunk dystopia with >Observer, and summoning the strength to cry through The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. Hopefully he’ll also get the opportunity to eat a lot of hot dogs; a dozen or so preferably.

Camden Jones (@CCJ1997) – I’ll be playing more Destiny 2! Mostly, I’ll just be grinding for more armor and playing around with my Titan’s fashion.

Imran Khan (@imranzomg) – I'm watching Ant-Man tonight! Beyond that, I'm mostly going to be playing more Hollow Knight on Switch and also, if I get some time, diving back into The Evil Within 2.
