Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z
Tecmo Koei’s upcoming Ninja Gaiden spinoff, Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, isn’t like Ryu Hayabusa’s adventures. The cel-shaded bloodiest coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 stars a coarse ninja, some questionable humor, and a lot of undead sword fodder.
In this first developer diary, you’ll hear from Comcept’s Keiji Inafune, Team Ninja’s Yosuke Hayashi, and Spark Unlimited’s Cory Davis (lead designer on Spec Ops: The Line). The five minute video details how Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z blends eastern and western interpretation of ninjas.
