The Witness

Jonathan Blow has finally put a date on his follow-up to Braid. Unfortunately, you’ll be waiting until next year before exploring his puzzle-filled island.

In the trailer below, you can get a general idea of how the puzzles and exploration tie together. Blow says that completionists can expect to spend 80 to 100 hours playing, though the game can be completed in less time.

The Witness, which was announced in late 2009, will be out on January 26, 2016. For more, you can read a gameplay preview.
