Sunset Overdrive

Yesterday, we shared some details on the Sunset Overdrive achievements. Today, we’ve got some news about some extra bonuses you can unlock in three different ways.

We’ve known that Sunset Overdrive is getting a Day One edition since E3 (similar to what was offered for Dead Rising 3, Forza Motorsport 5, and Ryse: Son of Rome at the Xbox One launch). For Sunset Overdrive, this will net you two weapons (an more powerful version of the High Fidelity vinyl record launcher and the Hardcore! Hammer spiked dumb-bell bat). You’ll also get a costume to dress up like Fizzie (the game’s mascot).

If you pre-order on Xbox Live, you’ll get the Acordes de la Muerte (a guitar with melting candles on it) and the Hangover an electrified pitchfork). Both are melee weapons.

Season Pass buyers will get a pile of goodies available from day one (in addition to the three add-on packs coming down the road). Six outfits, two amps (including an experience mod that increases weapon growth speed), and two traps will be unlocked with purchase.
