Shovel Knight
Kickstarter success story Shovel Knight finally has a release date, and it's not too far off.
After missing its March release and announcing it was, "essentially complete," in April, developer Yacht Club Games says Shovel Knight will be available on June 26. That date marks release on all three of the game's announced platforms – PC, Wii U, and 3DS. "We hit some snags along the way and we’re sorry that we couldn’t deliver it sooner, but, hopefully, it will prove more than worth the wait," Yacht Club Games wrote on its most recent Kickstarter update.
Yacht Club Games also revealed the art that will appear on the game's box, which will be coming to backers who pledged $50 are more to the project, which you can see below. Finally, the developer confirmed it will be at E3 with a demo near the Nintendo side of the show. For more about the game, check out some of our hands-on impressions here.
