Blizzard has just released two ten-minute videos of unedited Overwatch gameplay in silky smooth 60 frames per second. This first video takes you behind the mask of Reinhardt, one of the Tank heroes in the game. He’s big, he’s angry, and he’s got a giant hammer. Watch him throw down in a full match on the hybrid point capture/payload map King’s Row.

Reinhardt players can use his giant shield to protect their teammates and create cover. Offensively, he has a ramming attack and limited ranged capabilities in his Fire Blast ability. His movement speed is slow, however, so aggressive players can quickly find themselves overwhelmed. Outside of his three core abilities, Reinhardt keeps it simple by just bashing his foes with that hammer. Anyone looking to get in the thick of the hectic combat might want to take Reinhardt for a spin.

Pharah, on the other hand, offers a more traditional first-person shooter experience. She can use her Jump Jet to evade enemy fire a la Tribes, and her rocket launcher is perfect for taking down clustered targets. She also has the wrist-mounted Concussive Blast ability for crowd control. Her ultimate ability launches her high in the air to rain down a barrage of exploding missiles.

Overwatch does not have a set release date yet, but you sign up for the closed beta here. A few of the other colorful characters have similar gameplay previews already, including Torbjörn, Reaper, Tracer, and Hanzo.
