Blizzard isn’t being shy with information about it’s upcoming team-based FPS, Overwatch. This latest gameplay preview follows the dwarfish engineer Torbjörn through a seven-minute-long payload match. In payload one team is tasked with moving a objective to the capture zone before time runs out, while the defending team tries to prevent this. Torbjörn's turret and ammo support abilities work very well with this kind of map, which you can see for yourself in the trailer below.

The early build preview gives an intimate look at all of Torbjörn’s combat skills, including his ultimate ability Molten Core.  After watching through the video, one thing is for sure: Torbjörn may seem like a support character, but that doesn’t mean he can’t hold his own.

This latest gameplay demo comes hot on the heels of a preview for Reaper, a character that is vastly different from Torbjörn, both in aesthetically and mechanically. Part of Overwatch’s appeal comes from the idea that you’re playing as different characters, with different looks and personalities. You can read more about Overwatch’s overall feel in our PAX East Hands-On preview here.

While no release date has currently been announced, Overwatch is slated to enter closed beta on PC later this year. Sign up for the beta through Battle.Net, and keep your fingers crossed for a release date announcement sometime in the near future.
