We still have some time to wait before Kingdom Hearts 3, but Square Enix is wrapping up the last bit of remaster work first. It was touch and go for a while, but Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is coming out worldwide before the end of the year.

The bundle includes a remastered version of the 3DS title Dream Drop Distance, the short playable chapter Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage, and the HD movie Kingdom Hearts X [chi] Back Chapter. You can see bits off all three in the video below.  

While no specific release date has been announced, Square Enix says it is targeting December for worldwide rollout on PlayStation 4. You can read more about the package in our previous coverage.
