De-formers
Ready At Dawn, the developer behind the grim and cinematic The Order: 1886, has taken a different approach with its new game, De-formers, which will receive distribution and publishing help from GameStop. De-formers is a small arena combat game where you take on different "forms" and try to knock other players out of the arena with your body. It's also quite colorful.
In a brief interview with the team, Ready at Dawn emphasized the importance of the game's physics system, saying that the intricacy of the physics make it feel more real and interesting than a standard animation system. The game will include power ups that allow players to use a variety of strategies to overcome their foes. Defeating opponents allows you to consume their mass and become bigger, literally giving you more weight to throw around. From what I saw of De-formers, there was definitely promise for a chaotic brand of combat if you have enough players to fill all 8 slots, but i'm curious and somewhat skeptical about how entertaining the action is you've only got two or three people rolling around.

Ready At Dawn did not specify if the game would be hitting in 2016 or 2017 but said that it's "coming soon."
