Middle-Earth: Shadow of War owners will be getting a number of free content updates between next Tuesday and mid-December.

Tuesday will bring three new updates, including Endless Siege, which will have you “Defend your fortresses against Sauron’s forces as the Dark Lord tries to reclaim Mordor in the Endless Siege.” Rebellion promises the opportunity to “Crush the rebel Orcs and Uruks in your forces as they seek to undermine the Bright Lord,” and an enhanced photo mode will allow you to apply new filters, frames, and textures to the photographs you take.

The next of the free updates will come December 5, which will allow you to “Challenge another player’s Orc follower, Overlord vs. Overlord, to a fight to the death in the arena to earn powerful rewards and upgrades” in the Online Fight Pits.

Finally, Shadow of War will be getting a brutal difficulty level with no last chances December 12. WB also promises more free content updates in the future.

Those who bought the expansion pass will start getting content November 21, with the second part of the pass releasing December 12.

Our Take
Free content is the best kind of content. Going through the game on brutal difficulty is something I'm not even going to attempt, but it will be really fun watching others give it a go.
