Microsoft Rolls Out Holiday Xbox One Update
Microsoft is rolling out its holiday update on Xbox One, which adds a host of new features with an eye toward communities. Players can join and create groups, send out a widespread call for gaming sessions, check the rarity of their achievements, and more.
The update, which was available a few months back for members of Microsoft's preview program, will be available for download starting today. One of the highlights is the looking for group functionality, which was unveiled alongside the Xbox One back in 2013. With it, players can search for game sessions using a variety of filters such as whether profanity should be used, if casual play is encouraged, or if you need to have a headset attached. These can be set up in advance, too, so you can plan ahead for your gaming weekend if you're into that kind of thing.

I thought the looking for group feature sounded pretty cool when it was announced, and it's good to see that it's finally here. It sounds like a great way to get games going, especially if you want to play something that may have fallen from the spotlight.
