News

Originally planned for release this fall, Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing's mobile adaptations are now planned for early next year.

Tucked away at the press release for the recently announced Super Mario Run mobile game Nintendo revealed the new release window for the previously announced games. "Nintendo plans to deliver its previously announced mobile device titles in the Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem series before the end of March, 2017."

No new details were offered, but we do know the games will be free-to-start. You can learn a little more about the games here and here.

Our Take
Something tells me Nintendo is seeing a whole lot more value in mobile gaming than it expected after the release of Pokémon Go. Hopefully it is pushing these games back in order to give them extra development time to reach their full potential.
