Watch Star Trek Beyond's Explosive And Gripping Second Trailer
While Star Trek Beyond's previous trailer had a more lighthearted tone, the upcoming film's newest trailer takes a darker and more action-packed turn.
Star Trek Beyond, from Fast & Furious director Justin Lin, and producer J.J. Abrams, is the third instalment in the rebooted film series. In this new teaser, we see the Enterprise ripped to shreds after being attacked by a slew of alien hostile ships. Captain Kirk, played by Chris Pine, and his crew are left marooned on a faraway planet. Check the video out for yourself below.
It's been an exciting week for Star Trek fans. Just a couple days ago the first trailer surfaced for a new Star Trek show from producer Bryan Fuller, which will return the series to television by 2017.
Star Trek Beyond hits theaters July 22.
