Weekend Warrior – The Easter Steak Anniversary

by Connor Trinske on Mar 25, 2016 at 02:00 PM

Most of us will probably be too occupied with games, movies, or significant others to notice the giant bunny sneaking into our homes and hiding eggs everywhere. We'll be continuing to play a myriad of titles both old and new, from leveling up in EarthBound to ranking up in The Division. Tell us what kind of delicious media you plan to consume this weekend in the comments below.

Connor Trinske (@gwubba) – My newest playthrough of Ninja Gaiden Black is finally finished, and I got Master Ninja rank after all these years. That doesn't leave much on my plate for the weekend besides continuing EarthBound, but I may also pick up another of my old games again. At least March is almost over; I'm thinking April will bring more interesting new games than this month did.

Brian Shea (@BrianPShea) – I'm finally wrapping up my time with my favorite game of the year so far, Far Cry Primal, so that means I'll be putting more time into Unravel, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, and who knows what else.

Kyle Hilliard (@KyleMHilliard) – My wife and I started dating 10 years ago this weekend, so we’re going to eat some awesome steak. I think 10 years is the steak anniversary, right? Otherwise I will be trying to dig into The Division, dipping eggs in colored dye, and telling my daughter to slow down on the candy while I eat way too much of it. I’ll probably clean the guinea pig’s cage, too.

Ben Hanson (@yozetty) – This weekend I'm really hoping to wrap up my insanely positive journey with Stardew Valley by finishing up year two. I'm half-way through winter right now. Other than that, it's time to finish off Final Fantasy VII for the GI Game Club discussion next week. Follow along! Have a good weekend. Also, it's Easter or something. Bye!

Andrew Reiner (@Andrew_Reiner) – I’m seeing Batman v Superman and Deadpool on Saturday, and should have some free time to carve out more of The Division. I’m up to level 20 and can’t wait to see what the final missions and endgame bring.

Joe Buchholz (@JoeyFatoney) – I plan on making my final sprint to the end of Dark Souls in preparation of Dark Souls III's release. I'm at the end of the Artorias DLC and I'm about to up and leave Oolacile. Manus is a jerk. Also, Street Fighter V is still in heavy rotation.

Elise Favis (@elisefavis) – I'll be making my way through Persona Q some more this weekend. It's been great so far, but it does seem like it's missing some of the great personality and spark that the Persona series has. Might also give Day of the Tentacle Remastered another playthrough just to hear the developer commentary track, because those are always fun.

Jeff Marchiafava (@GIJeffM) – This weekend I plan to keep on plugging away at The Division. I'm currently level 15, and while I’m enjoying the general ramp up in difficulty, I’ve been distracted by some especially puzzling mysteries. Shameless plug aside, I also started Broforce the other night, which I might hop back into for some less tactical action.
