New Gruesome Dark Souls II Artbook Available Now

by Luke Walaszek on Jan 27, 2016 at 10:35 AM

Publisher Udon Entertainment released the art compendium Dark Souls II: Design Works today. The hardcover book contains over 200 pages delving into the dark, moody world of From Software’s hit action-RPG.

Dark Souls II: Design Works features character, world, enemy, weapon, and equipment artwork. There are also rough sketches and behind-the-scenes concept visuals encompassing both the main game and the three chapters in its DLC trilogy, The Lost Crowns, as well as an interview with the game’s creators.

Additionally, Udon’s first Dark Souls Design Works has been issued a reprint.  You can check out some sample pages from that book in the gallery here.

The third and supposedly final chapter of the Dark Souls trilogy hits on April 12. For more fond Dark Souls memories, click here to read about Hidetaka Miyazaki’s favorite bosses from the series.
