At a recent autograph signing, actor Mads Mikkelsen, who recently joined the Star Wars: Rogue One cast, signed a Star Wars poster for a fan, but didn't stop there – he also wrote the name "Galen" underneath his signature. This is likely the name of the character he will be portraying in Rogue One. This isn't a unique name in the Star Wars universe. The Force Unleashed's Starkiller also goes by Galen Marek.

While some fans are speculating that Mikkelsen could be playing Marek in the film, it seems unlikely seeing that Disney erased this character from the Star Wars timeline along with the rest of the Expanded Universe. The more likely scenario is that Disney is recycling some of the most popular names in from the Expanded Universe. While repeated names are common in the real world, we rarely, if ever, see the same name twice in Star Wars. Odds are, there will only be one Lando.

It was recently revealed that a location in Star Wars: The Force Awakens is called Starkiller Base. That's two potential connections to The Force Unleashed in movies releasing in consecutive years. For long-time Star Wars fans, Starkiller is also the last name of Luke Skywalker from the original Star Wars script. His name was Annikin Starkiller.
