Microsoft Announces Gamescom 2015 Plans, Games To Be Shown
E3 isn’t even distant in our rear view mirror, but it’s time to start thinking about an even bigger show. Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, is only one month away, and Microsoft plans to make a splash.
Especially with Sony skipping a major presence at Gamescom in favor of Paris Games Week, Microsoft has the opportunity to dominate the news cycle. The publisher is striking early with an announcement of its press conference and a partial list of games to be featured.
Microsoft’s Gamescom press briefing will be held on Tuesday, August 4 at 4 p.m. CEST / 10 a.m. Eastern / 7 a.m. Pacific. We’ll get new looks at Scalebound, Quantum Break, and Crackdown among other titles.
You can watch the conference via the Xbox Live Event Interactive app on Xbox One or the Live Event Viewer on Xbox 360. Those of you planning to be in Cologne can also attend a Fanfest event similar to what Microsoft offered at E3. More details on that are coming.
