The PS2 Was Capable Of Streaming Movies Online, But Only In Brazil
Did You Know Gaming turns its gaze towards the PlayStation 2 to showcase lost and underused features and the involvement of director David Lynch.
In the video below you will see how the PlayStation 2 was designed with the Earth floating in space in mind, and how Netflix was able to achieve movie streaming on the console before the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Network. You will also learn that in Europe, David Lynch (Twin Peaks, Eraserhead) directed a series of promos for the PlayStation 2, which made nearly no reference to Sony's console.
