A new video from Did You Know Gaming looks at Final Fight, and how it began its life as a Street Fighter sequel.
The video also covers the ambiguous nature of Final Fight and recently Street Fighter character Poison's gender, and how the team basically ignored request to make a sequel to Final Fight and made Street Fighter II instead. You can check out the video below.

They spent way too much time on the whole Poison "controversy" and no time at all on the terrible Final Fight episode of the Street Fighter cartoon.
Yeah. The concept of a guy saving his girlfriend in a dilapidated urban setting had never been done before in video games!
I mean, like, EVER!
Whoever asked that question about the movie influence should be beaten with a sock full of monkeys.
No matter what gender, Poison still looks hot.
Poison's gender has never really been ambiguous. It's always been clear she was a woman. The ambiguousness was whether she was trans or not.
Didn't really look at Poison as a guy. She will always be a woman to me. Interesting stuff, though.
