by Harry Mackin on Jun 04, 2014 at 12:49 PM

In this epic, exhaustive nine-minute video, Toronto-based video game cover band New Game Plus jams through iconic parts of 22 songs from throughout Nintendo's history. Starting in the NES era, the band hits classics like The Overworld Theme from Super Mario Bros. 2 and Vampire Killer from Castlevania before powering through all the way to the Wii's releases.

The games name, system, and gameplay are displayed on-screen as each song plays, so the viewer can follow along from song-to-song. The youtube page also provides timestamps with quick-links, so you can skip to your favorite songs.
