Failbetter Games Working With BioWare On Unannounced Project

by Mike Futter on Feb 25, 2014 at 10:48 AM

Failbetter Games is a small company known for its browser game Fallen London. The title has elements of “choose your own adventure” storytelling in a London that has been dragged under the Earth.

Today, the company revealed it is working with BioWare on an unannounced project. No further details are available, but we've reached out to EA just in case.

The Dragon Age universe has had a number of tie-in games, including the Facebook title Dragon Age Legends and the free-to-play mobile title Heroes of Dragon Age. With Inquisition slated for later in 2014, a new side-story could be what Failbetter is working.

Our Take
This is the first time I’ve heard of Failbetter Games, but Fallen London sounds intriguing and has earned a faithful audience and critical accolades. The company also has a Kickstarter prequel to Fallen London, The Silver Tree, which we covered in our Kickstarter roundup. As a BioWare fan, consider me intrigued.
