Welcome to day 246 of Titanfall beta watch. Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella tweeted some hopeful news for those that are eagerly awaiting the release of the studio’s first game.
Titanfall is due out exactly four weeks from tomorrow, and Zampella is hopeful that Respawn will mark the date with news (and possibly signups) for the upcoming beta.
“Good progress,” he writes. “Should be beta news tomorrow. There will be signups. So close!”

Our Take
First, yes. I calculated out how many days it has been since Titanfall was announced. Second, we reported recently that the beta is slated to begin on Valentine’s Day (this Friday). Given how quickly EA and Respawn turned around the Alpha test codes, that date is still within reach.
