The lights are on
We now have official confirmation that Titanfall will have a beta. The verification comes after EA’s Origin service temporarily announced the event and posters appeared at a French retailer.

If the leaks Zampella is referring to are correct, the beta will begin on February 14. It’s important to note that he did not mention an Xbox 360 beta, nor have we seen any footage of that version.

Our TakeAt this point, a Titanfall beta isn’t a surprise. It’s hard to imagine that it will be more than a server load test and venue for last minute balancing, though. If the expected dates are correct, the “beta” will run less than a month before the March 11, 2013 release on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
