Pokémon Bank Now Available In Europe, Coming Soon To North America

by Kyle Hilliard on Feb 04, 2014 at 10:49 AM

After a delay late last year, Pokémon Bank services are now live in Europe, and are coming soon to North America.

The latest bank update comes from the official Pokémon twitter account. It doesn't offer a release date for Nintendo's services, but past updates have promised only more detail about Pokémon Bank in North America. This latest update says the service itself is coming soon, rather than just details.

The Pokémon Bank and Pokemon Transporter services were meant to release last year, but were delayed shortly after Christmas while Nintendo was experiencing network problems. The service appeared recently in "certain Asian countries" late last month, so North America should be next.

Our Take
Pokémon fans have been very patient considering the sudden delay the service incurred right as it was meant to release. It's been over a month now of waiting. Hopefully the service appears soon, and hopefully fans planning to use it haven't lost their excitement.
