Yesterday, Microsoft gave us a new look at Murdered: Soul Suspect on the Xbox One. When we reached out to Square Enix about a PS4 version, we were told to “stay tuned.”
Square Enix has confirmed that PlayStation 4 owners won’t be left out on the spectral murder mystery. The title will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC in June.
Murdered: Soul Suspect puts players in the (gum)shoes of detective Ronan O’Connor, murdered and trapped in limbo. O’Connor will use his post-mortal status to uncover the investigate the events surrounding his death.
Our Take
The announcement of a PlayStation 4 version of Murdered: Soul Suspect isn’t a surprise, especially since Microsoft didn’t tout it as a new-generation exclusive. Yesterday’s video has me more interested than I was before, and I’m eager to learn more about the title.
