[Update] Borderlands 2 Vita Release Date An Error
Update: Following this morning's reports that Borderlands 2 would be arriving on March 18 for PlayStation Vita, Game Informer has learned that the release date is not correct. Two tweets from 2K Games' International Twitter account confirm the error.

Original Story:
March 2014 already has many gamers rushing to purchase budgeting software. The month is home to Titanfall, Infamous: Second Son, South Park: The Stick of Truth, Dark Souls II, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, and much more. You can now add the portable version of Borderlands 2 to that list.
In a since deleted tweet (captured by MCV), 2K International announced the title’s March 18 release. We’re reaching out to 2K Games to confirm the news and details.
The port is being handled by Divekick developer Iron Galaxy Studios, with Sony handling the publishing. We don't have a lot of details about the content yet, so we're eager to find out which of the currently available DLC (if any) will be included.

Our Take
Borderlands 2 is likely to light up the Vita sales charts. It doesn’t matter that the title is over a year old. 2K Games and Gearbox keep supporting it (and offering it in new ways, like recently announced bundles). The game has legs, and until long after Gearbox announces it’s moving on, the community will remain as strong as ever.
