Castlevania Now Available On The Wii U Virtual Console

The original Castlevania – the one that started the Belmonts' centuries long battle – is available now on the Wii U's Virtual Console.

Super Castlevania IV released back in October on the Wii U Virtual Console, so Nintendo is releasing the series out of order, but there's nothing wrong with that. As per usual, the game is discounted if you owned the Wii Virtual Console version of the game. You can check out the trailer for the game below.

Our Take
I'm happy to see Castlevania showing up on the service. I have expressed my concern about the Wii U's Virtual Console before. It has been slow going, but I am happy to see Nintendo filling out the library, even if it's taking a little longer than I'd like.
