Bat Your Eyes At The Lego Movie’s New Trailer
The Lego Movie is coming to theaters in February. If you’re a fan of the Lego games (or the building blocks that spawned them), the trailer for the film is worth watching.
The cast includes a number of big names, including Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, and Will Farrell. The story blends licenses that have appeared in Lego form (DC Comics, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc.) with more traditional sets.
If you like what you see, you’ll be happy to know that the The Lego Movie is getting a digital incarnation called The Lego Movie Videogame. You can read about it in a preview from Gamescom 2013.
Our Take
This movie and its spinoff game are ingenious, and it looks like a great fit for families that have enjoyed the previous Lego titles. I know my kids will get a huge kick out of seeing Lego minifig versions of Batman, Wonder Woman, Michelangelo, and others.
