Nintendo Confirms the Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds 3DS XL For North America
Nintendo has announced that the special Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds 3DS XL bundle (pictured above) is coming to North America. The gold and black handheld was previously shown off for Europe and Japan.
The Link Between Worlds bundle comes with a download code for the game. It will be available on the title’s launch date, November 22, for a suggested retail price of $219.99.
The Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds is a follow-up to the Super Nintendo’s Link to the Past. You can read more about the title in our hands-on impressions from E3 and our coverage of a recent Nintendo Direct that revealed some changes to the classic formula.
Our Take
I typically don’t regret missing out on special bundles, but this Link Between Worlds 3DS XL has me wishing I had held out. The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past is one of my favorite games, and I’m excited to return to that version of Hyrule in Link Between Worlds.
