Flashback To Make An Appearance At Comic-Con Xbox Lounge
In celebration of the game’s 20-year anniversary, Ubisoft is releasing an HD remake of Flashback for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The sci-fi platformer was released in the U.S. as Flashback: The Quest for Identity in 1993 for Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and PC.
Attendees of the San Diego Comic-Con this week will have the chance to see Ubisoft showcase the upcoming Flashback remake in the Xbox Lounge. The event is scheduled to take place in the Manchester Ballroom at the Manchester Grand Hyatt hotel on July 18 and 19 from 11 AM to 8 PM PT, and on July 20 from 11 AM to 5 PM PT.
Ubisoft has also announced that the release will include the original Flashback game. No official launch date has been set.

Our Take
Flashback should make for another quality addition to the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network libraries. Fans of Shadow Complex might note some similarities in style and gameplay here, which is a good thing. Hopefully this Comic-Con event will result in an official release date.
