Publisher Take-Two had its investor call this afternoon, and tucked among the sales figures were a pair of release dates for NBA and WWE games.

According to today's call, the NBA 2K series remains 2K Sports' most profitable sports franchise, selling more than five million copies each of the three past years. The successor to NBA 2K13 (pictured above) will be arriving on store shelves on Oct. 1.

As you may or may not recall, the WWE brand is being handled by 2K Sports following the aftermath of THQ's implosion. WWE 2K14 will be slamming onto shelves on Oct. 29.

Details beyond these dates are unsurprisingly scarce. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick did say that the company is planning on software development for all available platforms. Whether that means these two games are in development for the PS4 and whatever Microsoft's cooking up remains to be seen.
