by Mike Futter on Apr 04, 2013 at 01:27 PM

In a week already fraught with sad news, reports are coming in that Sega has closed their Australian studio. The developer, formerly known as Creative Assembly Australia, was responsible for Medieval II: Total War and London 2012: The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games.

According to comment obtained by Kotaku, Sega will be shutting the studio down before the end of the year.

We have reached out to Sega for comment and will update when new information is available.
